[ezSEO Blog] EzSEO Newsletter # 79: This guideline warns against software that automatically checks rankings or other automated tasks. If you are using a rank checker, make sure that software uses the Google API key (which Google introduced to help webmasters) which can then check Google safely. This API Key limits the number of automated queries the software can do, and keeps you within safe “Google limits”.
[ezSEO Blog] EzSEO Newsletter # 72: If you find that you consistently don’t get the newsletter, you might try contacting your ISP and asking whether they are blocking emails with the @aweber.com ending. Since Aweber only allows double opt-in, it is impossible for someone to receive mail that they did not sign up for (unless someone has access to your email details). They should not be blocking this mail.
[ezSEO Blog] EzSEO Newsletter # 71: In many ways, Yahoo’s index still does this today. I had a web page indexed by Yahoo last week that is on a new site of mine. Despite only having one link pointing to it, that page is ranked #7 in Yahoo for a phrase that has over 11,000 competing pages (searched with quotes). Whether this is Yahoo playing catch up to Google’s algorithm (of two years ago), or a return to an emphasis of on-page factors in its ranking algorithm, I don’t know.
