FT.com Busted for Having Hidden links
[Graywolf's Wolf-Howl] The $64 question is was it done to benefit or harm the website in question? While it would be nice to hear from FT.com about this, I think the fact that they haven't responded after three days, and the links are still up, indicates they aren't monitoring the blogosphere. So I think links will probably just quietly disappear and the guilty party will most likely be sacked.
Some slightly related from Technorati and Google.

[The Aimless Files] Forget it, I'm Joining the Y: So I thought, well, as long as I am a member, I will check out their catalog and maybe find some interesting programs to sign up for. I don't know what I expected to find, but I kept seeing flyers for the San Francisco JCC , advertising their multitude of film screenings and art exhibitions and music and dance perfomances and classes on world literature and Jewish ethics and holiday cooking, so I was hoping for a similar spectrum of events - I knew there wouldn't be as many, but I thought it might at least be comparable to, say, the local adult ed center. No.
[Wolf-howl.com] Graywolf's Wolf-Howl: but I don't want her to come back with something really unsuitable we have to smuggle onto the plane - bringing that Terracotta Warrior back from China was an experience I never want to repeat and my pashmina has never been the same since.
[Blog.marmot.cc] The Marmots Hole: Reports said U.S. Deputy Under Secretary of Defense Richard Lawless threatened Korea during a visit to Seoul on Sunday to Monday, saying the country’s strategic value was finished, and if it failed to accept American demands, the U.S. forces in Korea could be withdrawn. Reports also have Lawless visiting the Korean Embassy in Washington on May 31 and telling Korean ambassador Hong Seok-hyun, “Korea’s Northeast Asian balancer role is a concept that cannot coexist with the Korea-U.S. alliance.
[Burntorangereport.com] Burnt Orange Report - If it ain't fili-busted, don't fili-fix it.: I also see the logic behind the GOP argument that you shouldn't need 60 votes to confirm a judicial appointment. I think axing the filibuster's possible application to presidential appointments though is not a bright idea considering the Democrats will one day regain the majority. Furthermore, Replublicans don't need to be getting all pissy and whiny that the Democrats would in turn make the Senate a real procedure hellhole.
[Basilsblog.net] basil's blog: Begging For Compliments: Yesterday, I posted a little rambling in which I said I was uncomfortable with the TTLB Ecosystem rankings. Because they are based upon links from other sites rather than visits to the site, and because at the moment there are several blogs linked to this blog, I came in at # 332. I'm happy with that, but just the fact that I'm listed above many, many blogs that are much, much better bothers me.
[Dangerouslogic.com] Dangerous Logic: I decided to take a few days off the daily blog-slog. I'm working on a Memorial Day weekend post, but, frankly, once you get past the wheelchair+golf cart chariot race and breaking into an electrical box in order to light the field for Night Jarts, it's pretty thin.
