[The LinkSpiel Link Building Blog by Debra Mastaler] On their blog, Google mumbles something about “reconsidering our goals” and never really comes out and says why they’re closing but I’m betting it has to do with a drop in answer revenue. As I understand it, Google takes 25% of the fee collected so fewer questions means less money coming in.

Feh! v2: Try to standardize your requests so that you only have 5-6 combinations to choose from when you ask for something, not the 2000 combinations which are possible. By bundling up these options into a known configuration you can make their life easier, and move the conversation/fight from arguing about if the request really needs to have option A on every project to a agreed upon standard that both parties are happy with.
