[Search engine optimization and Online marketing] Available through Google Labs later today, you can sign-up for the page if you have a Google Account. Once created, you'll see something that looks almost the same as the regular Google home page. But below the search box, you've got new options:
Some slightly related from Technorati and Google.
jobster blog: Google to launch Ads in RSS Feeds: Google is increasingly applying more flexibility to its advertising programs, which generated more than $1 billion, or 99 percent of the company's revenue, in the first three months of 2005. For example, it recently sanctioned animated ads to run on its publisher network, in a reverse of its longtime, text-only ads policy. It also has begun allowing advertisers to choose on which publisher sites their ads appear, granting freedom marketers have wanted.
Search Engine Lowdown :: News: Personalized Google Homepage Launches: So why has it taken Google so long to launch a product that Yahoo has had for years? According to Marissa Mayer, "We have hit a critical mass on push content like mail or news. Now we have that critical mass it makes sense to give users ways to harness it."
SEM, SEO, RSS, Web Marketing, Google Adwords, Overture, PPC ...: I have recently come across interesting changes in the automated editorial rules/ guidelines that Google uses for adwords. It is interesting to note that the word "tips" is considered a gambling type of word by their software when really this term can be used for a thousand other things: cleaning tips, running tips, racing tips, marketing tips, health tips, weight loss tips, cooking tips, relationship tips, etc...
Coming Soon: YOURNAME@Google.com?!? Google to launch free email ...: However, the rumors are getting louder and louder that Google is developing an email product. The question is whether they’ll be offering an entire “Google Email” system, or if they’re just working on a version of their AdSense offering that would work within email (generating contextual ads based on the content of the email). Some people I’ve spoken to about it thought that people would freak out if they thought Google was reading their email to do its contextualization magic - which could be true. The question is how many people will freak out - and will plenty of others be more than willing to welcome the Google contextualization engine into their inbox, in exchange for the ability to actually “Google your email”?
