These are only a few of the true multiple-media companies that simultaneously produce many different types of media from the same content and offer the consumer a broad range of formats to choose from. While we users benefit from greater freedom of choice, the publishers have gained an incredible competitive advantage over their single-media competitors by dramatically increasing the size of their potential audience.

You can buy a nice Dell rack-mounted server and install Drupal for a fraction of that. No, you wouldn’t be blogging in 15 minutes, but I think you can see my point. What is so special that I should spend multi-thousands of dollars for a server with a blog platform installed. This leads to my other problem. Nowhere does it say what the blog server is or even what it is based on. I understand if they are using a proprietary system, but at least hint that it uses the XML-RPC API (they do say that you can receive updated via e-mail and RSS). Hint that it is based on WordPress or MoveableType or Drupal. Something. Without more to go on, I have trouble making the value connection. Why is your pre-installed system so special (besides rapid set up time)?
