If the big G has decided to kill off visual PR (toolbar pr) then thats one thing, but true PR is now, and has always been, very different to visual PR. Its still there - you just don’t know about it!

Go to a text-link brokerage site, buy yourself a lot of lower PR text links all saying the keyword and all pointing to the most important page for that keyword, make sure you have themed content on that page using the word often. Make sure you don’t pay more than 150$ for this unless the keyword is RIDICULOUS, and make sure you get at least 8 sites for your money.
